Councilman Andy Bozak and his Family

Andy Bozak is currently serving as the President of the Porter County Council and is running for re-election in 2018.   Andy has served his community in many ways prior to being a Council member and is very excited to continue working to make Porter County an even better community.

Andy has served on the Burns Harbor Town Council, on the Burns Harbor Park Board, vice president for the Burns Harbor Plan Commission, and RDC and he also served as a member of the Shared Ethics Committee of Northwest Indiana. .  As previously mentioned, Mr. Bozak is currently serving as the President of the Porter County Council, he is the Youth Director for the Knights of Columbus (based in St Patrick's Church, Chesterton, IN), a member of the Juvenile Justice board, a husband to an amazing wife (Roseann Bozak) and most importantly a father of 4 beautiful children.

Andy Bozak is running on a platform of responsible growth in the Porter County community through careful spending and financially sound investments, ensuring Porter County remains a safe, prosperous town for future generations. 

He also promises to be a reliable advocate for the infrastructure of the county and all the services provided by the County. Among the goals accomplished already was a 50 million investment in our county including a much needed sewer and drainage project, protecting and preserving our County Courthouse and expanding other county buildings to meet the needs of today.  Andy also was part of making sure that we not only had a balanced a fair budget for our County, but also was able to give all our full time workers a wage increase this year.  Additionally, he has pushed for better communication throughout our County including not only internal communication but communication with the public.  Mr. Bozak makes sure he is accessible to the people that need him by providing not only his email address but his cell phone number as well.
